Andrew’s stomach dropped as his gaze lifted higher. The dam wasn’t the only human scar here. Perched right at the cliff’s edge, looming like a scar on the land, stood a massive concrete building. Smoke rose lazily from its stacks, blending with the gray sky. A factory. Its walls buzzed with machinery, and trucks lined the yard. But it wasn’t just any company. Andrew’s heart sank when his eyes found the sign.
