Rolling acros the floor
The tweezers pierced the fluffy surface. It didn’t break apart or crumble like old insulation. Instead, the outer layer stretched slightly, making at least 20 or more of those black beads fall out. They all went scattering across the attic floor; some even fell down the open hatch that Ben stood in. This time, Ben saw it clearly. These black beads were creating that strange mist.
