The doorway was almost entirely sealed off. The capsizing had jammed beams against the exit, trapping whoever was inside. “They must’ve taken shelter during the roll,” Alex guessed. Sarah pressed her ear to the wall and heard it clearly now—multiple voices yelling for help, pounding on the other side. “They’re close,” she said. “Get to work. Let’s clear it before the structure shifts again.”
