Analysing materials
Each ball was roughly the size of a large melon and made of a strange material. From a distance, they seemed to be made from hard plastic. But up close, Sarah deduced that it was more of a soft rubbery foam material. There were no labels, none were marked, and no smell rose from the spheres. Sarah kneeled beside one of them and gave it a nudge.
