Frank’s hands shook as he reached for the jacket. Nobody should have touched it. The room showed no signs of forced entry, yet his things had been moved with purpose.
He muttered, “This is getting weird,” under his breath, patting his pocket instinctively for his phone. But it wasn’t there. His stomach twisted—he had left it charging in the car.
