Leaving work early wasn’t in Frank’s nature. He was always the first to arrive, the last to leave, dependable no matter what. But now he sat frozen in his car, keys trembling in his hand.
He thought of calling the police, maybe his boss, but something about the umbrellas and the voice told him not to. He wasn’t in control.
