Benjamin let out a sob, raw and unrestrained, as his knees buckled beneath him. Sofia leaned carefully forward, wrapping her frail arms around his shoulders. She pressed her forehead gently against his, the embrace tender yet full of decades of love and longing. They held on tightly, as though afraid to let go. Kevin blinked back tears, overcome by the sheer weight of the moment unfolding in front of him.
