A tricky chase
David thought the pigeon would come right to him since it had worked so hard to get his attention all day. But the moment he stepped closer, the bird hopped away with a quick little flap, always staying just out of reach. Every time David moved forward, the pigeon moved too, landing a few feet farther down the ledge and staring back calmly.
