Hours of effort
Time slipped away as he worked. Four hours passed without him even noticing. Outside the office, the sky turned black and the city lights glowed far below. One by one, the protective layers fell away. Finally, long after the last person had left the building, he sat alone in the darkened office. The final firewall crumbled. David now had full, unguarded access to the hidden files.
