Wide open space
Hanging suspended in the middle of the shaft, Thomas felt a sudden rush of cold air rising from below. He rotated slightly, shining his light in every direction, hoping to spot anything unusual. Slowly, a vast underground space began to take shape. It looked like a giant chamber carved beneath the forest floor, the walls were done shaped and were at least half a football field away.
