Scratch marks
Thomas scanned the cavern once more before turning toward the first tunnel on his left. Its entrance looked almost like an open mouth waiting quietly. As he stepped closer, he noticed faint scratches on the walls around the opening, as if equipment or crates had once scraped along there. His light followed the scuff marks inward, guiding him deeper into the passage.
