Brushing it off
Mia insisted she was sure she saw a quick flash, but Lilly laughed it off, saying maybe it was her phone glitching or the angle. She promised to check later, but her mind was already moving on to choosing curtains and finding new furniture. They ended the call with plans for Mia to visit the following weekend. Lilly felt reassured, thinking the attic was the least of her problems.
