The woman stepped cautiously out of the closet, her frail frame shaking as though the air itself weighed her down. She perched carefully on the edge of the bed, steadying her breath before she spoke. “My name is Rosemary,” she said, voice quiet but steady. “I used to own this house. You saw me in those photos. The young woman on the porch — that was me.”
