Shortly after, the real animal patrol arrived and managed to capture the bird in a more gentle manner. They identified the bird as a very rare type of Shoebill—only a couple of hundred are left in the world. The criminals hijacked the animal patrol’s radio frequency, and with it, they intercepted calls. And that’s how they found out about the bird in James’s house.
