Analysing sound
To improve her understanding and hearing, Samantha closed her eyes and focused on her other senses. This helped her signal out the noise, but it still didn’t give her a definitive answer. Maybe it was just a raccoon or a stray cat searching for food near the trash bins? No, that would have been more of a hectic sound. These sounded more like rhythmic footsteps.
