Sarah circled the vessel slowly, noting every dent and scrape on its weathered surface. It was intact, with no signage or flag to hint at its origin or purpose. A faint smell of rocket fuel, rust, and stale water clung to it. She tapped the hull, the echo inside sounding hollow. The lack of clues frustrated her, but she stayed methodical, her eyes sharp for any detail that might explain the vessel’s presence.
