Linda ignored Mark’s advice, though, grabbing a flashlight from the pantry and heading to the back door. “I’m looking around. There could be more,” she said firmly, her resolve unshaken. Mark pleaded for her to stay inside, his voice tinged with worry. But his words fell on deaf ears. Determined, Linda stepped out into the night, ready to uncover whatever else might be hidden in her now-suspicious garden sanctuary.
