Quiet and responsible
At first, Amber assumed that Cora was simply showing off for the crowd. Some of the younger chimps enjoyed mimicking visitors or tapping the glass just to get reactions. But this behavior didn’t feel playful at all. Cora was one of the older chimps in the troop, known for her calm and responsible nature. She rarely wasted time on silly antics. That was why Amber quickly noticed something was truly different in her demeanor.
