Ivey copied Cora’s behavior carefully, just as she always had. She greeted with the same soft hoots, followed grooming patterns, and learned the small gestures that meant peace. Soon, the troop began to treat her as one of their own. They didn’t question her fur or her shape. They didn’t see a fox or an outsider.
