Trying to tell them something

Amber stepped back out to watch again. Through the glass, Cora stood by the same spot, her arm outstretched, finger aimed steadily. Sometimes she barked sharply, almost demanding attention. But every time Amber moved closer, a wall of visitors got in the way — strollers, laughing families, kids pressing against the glass. It was almost impossible to see what Cora wanted them to notice, though Amber could feel the urgency in her body language.
