Convincing a Friend

Greg stood silent for a moment, the winter air clouding around his breath. Then he sighed and muttered, “You’re going to drag me into this whether I like it or not, aren’t you?” Thomas cracked a grin. “That’s why you’re my best friend.” Greg smirked, shaking his head, but his eyes showed determination now. “Alright,” he said. “But if we’re doing this, we’re doing it right.”
