Finally, they reached it. The rowboat knocked gently against the frozen edge, dwarfed by the towering ice wall above them. Thomas let out a shaky breath, adjusting his harness. Greg did the same, securing the ropes. The climb ahead looked brutal—smooth, sheer stretches broken by jagged cracks. Thomas pressed his hand against the cold wall, looking up. “This is it,” he whispered. The real challenge was about to begin.
