No acknowledgement

When Bob finally came back inside, wiping sweat from his brow, he found Judith standing silently in front of the living room window. She wasn’t looking at anything in particular — just… staring. Her hands were at her sides, her shoulders oddly tense. “Judith?” he called softly. No answer. He walked closer, repeating her name. Still nothing. She didn’t even blink when he entered the room.
