The surface of Rockwell Bay looked deceptively calm, hiding the mystery below. Divers descended with cameras, lights, and markers. Felix nervously hauled gear, fumbling as he adjusted straps and loaded oxygen tanks.
“Feels like we’re treasure hunters,” he joked, trying to cut the tension. Harper managed a thin smile but didn’t answer. Deep down, his instincts told him that disturbing whatever lay below could invite consequences they weren’t ready to face.
