Lifting the crane

The crane vessel, RV Shellpoint, positioned directly over the sonar coordinates. Divers worked quickly, wrapping heavy-duty lifting straps around the buried object. The straps coiled downward like snakes, twisting in the tide. The crane cables creaked as the operator tightened tension, preparing for the lift. Everyone on deck grew silent. They all sensed this was no ordinary salvage. The lines pulled taut, and every muscle braced for what would emerge.
