Too large to move
The intruders converged on the golden object, circling it like wolves testing prey. Two others wrestled with the massive front-loading door, clearly attempting to create an exit wide enough to drag the thing through. Harper’s pulse quickened. The artifact was far too large to move by hand. That meant these intruders had equipment — a plan already in motion. This wasn’t random. They came prepared, and they wanted it badly.
