An angry Harper
Both men rolled violently across the gravel, dust rising around them. Harper came out on top, pinning the intruder’s arms back in a crushing hold. “Who are you?” Harper shouted, his voice raw from the sprint and adrenaline.
The man grunted, thrashing under him. “What were you after? Tell me!” Harper’s chest heaved, his mind burning with questions. He wanted answers now, and he wasn’t letting this man escape.
