“When I heard the Coast Guard pulled up a glowing, massive object,” the man said, his eyes watering, “I knew… I just knew it had to be the one.” His voice was desperate, pleading almost. “We had to get it before anyone else did. It was my father’s dream,” he whispered, the words breaking in his throat. “I thought maybe—just maybe—I could finish it for him.” His words hung in the air.
