Making a decision
With the case closed, attention shifted to the treasure itself. The golden figurehead, gleaming even beneath layers of corrosion, was declared a national treasure. Security around it tightened immediately. A decision was made to move it from the Coast Guard facility to a specialized restoration center. Harper personally oversaw every step, unwilling to let it out of his sight. For him, the job wasn’t over until the artifact was completely safe.
