A new home
After a trip to the hardware store, Kathy returned with a plastic kiddie pool and fine sand. She set it up in the living room, surrounding it with tightly wound fencing to keep the hatchlings contained. Watching them explore their larger enclosure was oddly satisfying, but she couldn’t help noticing how strong they had become. She tightened the fencing again, hoping it would hold.
