Two massive bodies
Two massive forms emerged from the deeper water beyond the hatchling. They were full-grown alligators, easily four times the size of Kathy’s younger ones. Both adult alligators had the same distinct hook-shaped snouts. Yet they remained still, simply watching. “They must be the parents,” Harris whispered. Kathy stood frozen, but the giants didn’t advance. They seemed almost… trusting, keeping their distance while observing silently.
