Panda check
Alison paused at the panda enclosure, where Coco, their beloved giant panda, lay sprawled across a pile of bamboo stalks, asleep. Coco’s black-and-white fur looked almost silver under the fading light. Alison smiled, relieved to see her so calm. The panda had been oddly restless the past week, pacing the enclosure at night for reasons Alison couldn’t quite figure out.
