Driving it away

Two of Alison’s colleagues rushed out toward the enclosure, shouting and waving their arms. The small animal jolted upright, dropping what remained of the bundle, and darted back into the foliage with a frightened screech. “No!” Alison shouted from the monitor room, but it was too late. Coco froze, her expression falling as she watched her strange friend vanish into the bushes.
