The small animal let out one final screech and then took off, but this time, it wouldn’t do so alone. Alison watched its movements like a hawk and followed along from a safe distance. The creature was fast and slipped through alleyways and tight openings, but Alison knew the zoo like the back of her hand, which worked to her advantage.
