Taking control
The zookeeper’s eyes scanned the bushes where the animal disappeared, trying to spot movement in the leaves overhead. Alison didn’t want to startle whatever was hiding underneath, but when none of the plants moved for a few minutes, she took matters into her own hands. Alison bent over and parted some branches to look deeper into the thick growing foliage.
