“Think,” Kevin muttered, pressing his forehead. Trapped or not, there had to be another way. He steadied himself, drew deep breaths, and scanned the clutter.
Broken objects littered the floor, piles of debris crowding the walls. Somewhere in the mess, something useful had to exist. Slowly, he pushed himself upright and began combing through the remnants of another life.
