Circling
Unlike earlier, the creature didn’t breach the surface or leap into the air. Instead, it lingered below them, circling their boat with intent. The fishermen strained their eyes, trying to track its shadow as it slipped silently beneath the hull. The water swelled, betraying its path. Suddenly, a violent thud slammed upward, shaking the deck. The impact nearly knocked everyone off balance, rattling the vessel with frightening strength. No one had expected such force.
