Panic all around

A collective gasp tore across the deck when fresh marks appeared against the hull. Panic surged immediately, spreading like fire. A man lunged for a harpoon, gripping the handle tight, while another scrambled frantically through nets and rope. Fear sharpened every movement. Survival instincts had fully taken over.
