Diving down

Reluctantly, the captain gave the order. Two divers were told to suit up, their expressions heavy with dread. They moved slowly, hands hesitant as they strapped on tanks and masks. The thought of entering water with the massive creature nearby made their stomachs twist, but obedience carried them forward. Finally, with a splash, they slipped overboard and disappeared beneath the shifting surface. Silence swallowed the deck, every gaze locked on the restless sea.
