As he explored further, Tom noticed things that didn’t belong. There was a hidden hatch in the floor, partially concealed beneath a faded rug. Tom crouched down and removed the rug in its entirety. But unfortunately for him, he found that the passageway was locked with a sturdy, padded lock, one that looked much cleaner and newer than the rest of the trailer.
