Tom focused on the yellow folder first. For some reason, it just spoke to him. The front flap was flipped open, and Tom first saw a handwritten letter from his father. It welcomed Tom to the trailer and his inheritance: “This is my favorite spot in the whole world. It was my father’s property when I was a kid myself. This is where I grew up.”
