Scanning the shoreline

Bruno shook off sand, ready as ever. Judy crouched, rubbing his head. “Let’s figure this out,” she whispered, eyes fixed on the beach. Turning toward the water, she lined her house up visually with the others along the coast. The early sun threw gold light across the sand. If her home had been tapped, logic said the others had been too. It was time to test her suspicion and find out the truth.
