“If someone drained power from my place, I’d damn well want answers too,” Pete continued, his voice harder now. His expression darkened with each passing moment. “This isn’t right. Whoever’s behind this has to be held accountable.” Judy’s shoulders loosened as she exhaled slowly. The relief came sharp and unexpected. At least now she wasn’t completely alone. Pete understood. She had someone willing to stand beside her in a fight that felt impossible.
