A curious man
What Luke saw wasn’t driftwood or the usual mess of rope or seaweed. The object looked metallic, thick, and rusted, its surface dull in the morning light. The shape was unmistakable: interlocking links larger than his forearm. A massive chain lay on the rocky beach, its other end disappearing beneath the ocean. Curiosity driving him, Luke anchored his boat nearby and climbed out to investigate.
