Asking for help
Julia suggested asking one of the nearby zookeepers feeding the monkeys. David agreed, and together they approached a staff member in uniform. They explained everything: the flips, squeals, restless movements.
The zookeeper looked doubtful but agreed to see for himself. When he studied the animal, his face changed. This wasn’t simple play. Something was wrong. The hippo wasn’t performing for fun.
