Months later, as they began planning their wedding, the couple visited the zoo again. They paused at the hippo enclosure, reminiscing about everything that had happened. Julia smiled wistfully.
“Imagine if we could have the wedding here,” she joked. David’s eyes lit up. “Why not ask?” They laughed at first, but soon the idea grew serious. When they approached the zoo administration, to their surprise, the staff loved it. Plans were quickly put into motion.
