The monstrous creature was a humpback whale, one of the largest marine animals in the world. It gracefully broke through the surface, arched its back, and then plunged into the depths once again. The sight was so startling in its magnificence that the fishermen aboard the boat were left gaping, their jaws almost hitting the wooden deck of their vessel.
