Seeing evidence
As the rain eased, Chelsea managed to coax Milo forward. She saw now that the puppy’s paw was indeed hurt, red and swollen from a fall. Milo looked up, worried, as if asking Chelsea to fix it. Chelsea wrapped the puppy in a soft towel, but Milo stayed close, eyes never leaving his little friend. What would happen next?
