Just as Angela turned away, Mark grabbed her arm, his grip urgent even through the thick wetsuit sleeve. He pointed straight down, his wide eyes demanding her attention. Angela followed his gesture, peering through her mask at the uneven patches far below. At first, she saw only sand and shadows, nothing that struck her as odd.
