Final farewells
Father Ellis shook their hands one last time. “You know the way back,” he said kindly. “Let your hearts guide you.”
Jake glanced back as they climbed down, seeing faces at the top of the cliffs, waving goodbye. Wilson whispered, “This is something I’ll never forget.” Jake nodded, feeling exactly the same.
